HĀ - To breath (noun) Essence (Verb) TUA - Beyond something (locative).
HĀ TUA Magazine is a publication made in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
Combined HĀ TUA is about moving beyond the breath, giving life to everyday stories while acknowledging we are the constant extension of those who have come before us. In this space, te ao Māori sits at the heart, guiding our vision, our values, and our creativity. At the same time, we celebrate the richness that comes from kōrero tahi—dialogue and collaboration—between Māori, Pākehā, and all who call Aotearoa home. Our pages reflect manaakitanga, respect, and a spirit of unity, as we look to the past, embrace the present, and imagine a future shaped by many hands.
HĀ TUA represents a platform of like-minded brothers and sisters from the cultural multiverse, dedicated to weaving stories as navigators, makers, creators, and everything else in-between. Highlighting everyday people doing extraordinary things, as visionaries and kaitiaki we aim to create a space where we can all thrive together.
Our way. Nau mai haere mai ki te HĀ TUA.
